PAM can display your Apple Calendar events in the Timeline tab, so you can see them all in one place.

How to enable the Apple Calendar integration

  • Open PAM

  • Go into the "My PAM" tab

  • Select "Apple Calendar Sync"

  • You will then see a pop-up asking you to confirm that you give PAM access to your Apple Calendar

  • Once you confirm, you should see a "Calendar permissions granted successfully" confirmation message

How to disable the Apple Calendar integration

To disable the Apple Calendar integration, you must go into the system settings and revoke PAM's access to your Apple Calendar. To do that:

  • Go into Settings > Apps > PAM

  • Select Calendars

  • Select "None"

From this point on, PAM will stop showing your Apple Calendar items. Should you want to display them again, follow the same steps and give PAM "Full Access" and it will start showing items in your timeline again.

If you have Google or Outlook Calendars enabled, they won't be impacted - their integration are managed outside Apple's permission settings.

Limitations around the integration with Apple Calendar

Because of restrictions imposed by Apple, the following limitations are known for the integration with Apple Calendar:

  • It's only available for iOS devices, and not Android.

  • PAM's timeline can only display items on the device you set it up - that's different from the Google and Outlook calendars where those integrations can display calendar items for the whole account. This means that if you enable Apple Calendar on your device only you will see the Apple Calendar items, and other people on your account won't. You need to share your Apple Calendar items with them via the Apple Calendar app.

  • We don't have the ability to sync PAM items into Apple Calendar at this stage.
