Need to quickly add a to-do or reminder? You can manually create tasks right inside the PAM app and assign them to yourself or anyone in your village.

How to add a task

  1. Open your PAM app.

  2. Tap the + icon in the right-hand corner.

  3. Tap Task.

  4. Fill in the task details

    Required:

    • Title: What the task is called (e.g. "Book flights to Auckland" or "Pick up dry cleaning")

    Optional:

    • Due date: When the task needs to be completed

    • Repeat: Choose if the task repeats (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)

    • Leave it blank to add the task to everyone

  6. Tap Create task

Where will my task appear?

  • In the Task List View

    • If it has a due date, it appears at the top in the "With due date" section

    • If it has no date, it appears in the “Without due date” section

    • If assigned to someone: shown in their colour

    • If assigned to everyone: shown in grey

Example tasks to add to PAM:

  1. Book dentist appointment for Ava

  2. Buy birthday gift for Dad

  3. Return school library books by Friday

  4. Create a shopping list e.g. Add items to your notes section

  5. Pay electricity bill

  6. Pack oranges for Leo’s soccer game

  7. Email school about camp forms

  8. Drop off dry cleaning

  9. Refill prescription at pharmacy

  10. Daily tasks e.g. complete an hour of each of these things; Cleaning, Gym etc

Common question

Why don’t all my future recurring tasks appear right away?
If you create a recurring task, e.g. “Clean car every Sunday”, PAM will only show the 'next' upcoming task. Once you complete this Sunday’s task, PAM will then create the task for the following Sunday.

This is designed to prevent multiple copies of the same task from sitting overdue if you don’t mark them complete. When you finishing one task, PAM will add the next task for the following date automatically.
