If the event details have changed you can edit it directly in PAM so everyone stays updated.

How to edit a PAM event

You can edit events that you’ve created, or ones PAM has created for you.

  1. Open your PAM app.

  2. Tap Calendar in the bottom menu.

  3. Find and tap the event you want to edit.

  4. Tap Edit in the top right corner.

  5. Update the event details as needed:

    • Title – The event name e.g. “Fred's parent teacher meeting”

    • Date – The day the event happens

    • Start and end time – When the event begins and ends

    • All day – Toggle on if the event lasts all day

    • Repeat – Choose if it repeats daily, weekly, monthly, etc.

    • Location – Add where it’s happening e.g. “Room 4”

  6. Tap Save.

Your changes will update instantly for everyone who can see the event.

Editing imported digital calendar events

Events that sync from a connected digital calendar, e.g. Google, Outlook, iCal can’t be edited in PAM.
To make changes to these events:

  • Open your linked calendar app

  • Edit the event there

  • Changes will sync back into PAM automatically

Where will my updated event appear?

  • In Calendar List View and Calendar View

  • If assigned to someone: in their colour

  • If for everyone: in grey

Examples on why you might need to edit an event

  • Plans change e.g. Jack's now taking Sally to dentist instead of you.

  • The date or time gets moved e.g. the school fundraiser now on Friday.

  • The location changes e.g. The soccer has changed field this weekend.

  • You want to tweak the title e.g. Felix's birthday” becomes “Felix Smith’s 10th birthday party.”

  • You’ve got extra details to add e.g. parking tips, what to bring, or a quick reminder

Common questions:

Will recurring events show in my calendar?
Yes. If your event is set to repeat (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.), PAM will display all upcoming instances of that event in your calendar right away.

This helps you plan ahead, so you can see the all of your recurring events, unlike tasks, which only appear one at a time to avoid overdue clutter.
