PAM can keep an eye on your school's website and pull in the dates that matter — term starts and ends, teacher-only days, and school closures — so they sit right alongside your family's events and tasks. No more digging through newsletters. 💜
How to add a school
1. Open Settings in PAM.
2. Tap School calendar.
3. Tap into the search box and start typing your school's name.
4. Tap your school — a green tick appears next to it.
5. Tap Add School Calendar at the bottom of the screen.
That's it! 🪄 PAM will start adding your school's dates to your calendar and keep them up to date as the school publishes new ones.
Adding more than one school
Kids at different schools? You can connect as many as you need. Your schools live under Connected schools at the top of the screen, just search again and tick another one to add it.
If a school already has a tick when it appears in your search results, it's one you're connected to.
How to spot school dates in PAM
School dates appear in your calendar and timeline with a little graduation-cap icon 🎓, so you can tell them apart from your own events at a glance. They're all-day dates, and the school's name shows where the time would normally be.
Tap any school date to see the details, including the page on the school's website the date came from.
📝 School dates are read-only — they come straight from the school, so they can't be edited or assigned like your own events.
Where the dates come from
📝 PAM reads these dates straight from your school's own website, and checks back regularly for updates. If a date looks off or something's missing, it usually means the school's website has it that way, or that we couldn't reliably read it. If that's the case, please reach out to [email protected] and let us know.
Can't find your school?
If your school isn't in the list yet, no problem — you can ask us to add it. On the School calendar screen, tap Can't find your school? and we'll guide you through requesting it.

📝 The schools you can search are matched to the location on your account. If your school isn't coming up and you've recently moved, check your household details are up to date.
Removing a school
Changed schools, or no longer need the dates?
1. Open Settings → School calendar.
2. Tap the school under Connected schools.
3. Confirm with Yes, remove school.
4. Tap Update connected schools at the bottom to save.
That school's dates disappear from your calendar right away, and any planning tasks you haven't done yet are tidied up too. Tasks you've already ticked off stay put — they're part of your history.
📝 Changed your mind before saving? Just tap the school again to undo the removal.
